This is the web circa 2019. I wish sticky headers were recognized as war crimes. That site in the pic above has like three inches of sticky header that remains on the screen taking up valuable space even as I try in vain to read the content of the page. If that isn’t annoying enough, just to add an extra insult there is a popup.
Long ago we made it very difficult for web pages to make real popups (in a new browser window), so nowadays they use what you might call a popover. It’s still a thing in my way blocking the content. It’s a thing literally in between me and the reason why I came to this site. I didn’t stick around to fight my way through this mess. I just left the page.
